Matt Coronato scored one goal in his first career four-point game and Joel Farabee tallied once in a three-point performance to lead the host Calgary Flames to a 6-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Friday.

Morgan Frost and Matvei Gridin both collected one goal and one assist, while Aydar Suniev and Ryan Strome added single tallies for Calgary, which has won five of six games.

Goaltender Dustin Wolf made 21 saves.

Calgary has won 61 consecutive games when scoring four or more goals, tying the Boston Bruins for the second longest such streak in league history. The New York Rangers won 65 straight games from 2011 through 2014. The Bruins also won 61 games from 1927 to 1931.

Mackie Samoskevich produced one goal and one assist, while Frederick Gaudreau also tallied for Seattle.

Starting goalie Philipp Grubauer was pulled after surrendering four goals on 14 shots. Joey Daccord stopped 11 shots and allowed a pair of goals in relief.

After being blanked last outing, the Flames were looking for a quick start and received it when Frost converted a short-side shot for a power-play goal at the 2:32 mark of the first period.

Gaudreau responded nine minutes later, sliding home the rebound after his redirect opportunity was blocked, but the Flames pulled away in the middle frame.

Suniev restored Calgary's lead at 5:45 of the second period when he slapped home a one-timer set up by Frost. Then Gridin extended the edge to 3-1 with another power-play goal three minutes later, benefiting from a fortunate bounce when his shot ricocheted off a defender's skate.

Farabee tallied two minutes later when he buried an open chance from the left circle, set up by Mikael Backlund's cross-ice feed on the rush.

The assist was Backlund's 610th career point, which puts the Flames' captain into fifth spot on the franchise's all-time list.

Samoskevich buried a one-timer from the left face-off dot for a power-play goal of his own with 1:45 remaining in the second period to make it a 4-2 affair.

Coronato provided the perfect response, burying a top-corner shot from the slot 39 seconds into the third period to restore Calgary's three-goal edge.

Strome rounded out the scoring with 1:46 remaining.
